Based on this poll Hilary can't win the Democrat nomination.

The article mentions Obama's people talking about Whitewater------the big one they missed is the Foster Gate. Was ruled a suicide but many believe and think not. This was Washington's first introduction to the Clinton's.

I wasn't polled so add me to the "Hilary No".

Can certainly see a better combination for Obama-------either Edwards of North Carolina or Mark Warner of Virginia if he should decide to throw in his hat in 2007.

"By contrast, African-Americans represent only 13 percent of the American population, and minorities rarely serve as heads of state in any country. Only two blacks—Douglas Wilder of Virginia and, this year, Deval Patrick of Massachusetts—have been elected governor since Reconstruction, and only three have been sent to the Senate—Edward Brooke of Massachusetts, Carol Moseley Braun of Illinois and now Obama." (from the article sited in previous message)

Virginia, one of the 13 Colonies and a part of the Confederacy and home of Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry and George Washington was the first state to elect a black Governor---Wilder---in 1985.

Obama would be well advised to look to either Virginia or North Carolina for a running mate.

Both Edwards and Warner are seasoned, experienced former Governors they bring needed strength to a Presidential ticker.

Given Hilary's polls she is a handicap outside of New York.
