Don't confuse what I'm describing, which is simply the mechanism for a Flucht in die Sachwerte. Nothing is going to help JSM, other than maintaining sound money for him to have a economic foundation to work with in the future. Hyperinflation will set him back a generation, a classic credit bust depression maybe a decade. It doesn't have to happen that way, the Wizards (probably news ones, high integrity Volker types)could be responsible and keep the money printing in check. But will they? And even if they do, what's to prevent some foreigner from bailing anyway, because of the credit revulsion and defaults. I'm not really making any predictions on how it plays out. I'd rather watch them like a hawk.
