Since they are not for profit corporation does it matter whether they lose $ 200 or $ 500 Billion, and if it does, how? Same question applies to all FCB that are financing US consumer and government. Since I am not an expert in these matters can someone explain it to me?>>
... in china's case, i don't think it matters, since the money came too easily, like a bubble gain from the equity market via leverage, and because more paper can be printed up by japan, usa, and china to make up for a few more years of trade surplus to replenish fiat paper savings, which then goes into fulfilling the 600 years pent-up demand for infrastructure referred to in the earlier post
i mean, after upgrading from 45 sft to 50s sft per person living space, can always go to 55 sft, 60 sft, etc, always multiplied by 1.3+ billion people
then there is india
... it is gold that is difficult to accumulate without averaging up
basically what japan and america have done is to enhance the once per thousand year transformation of china that was enabled by once per 500 years generation of actually wise chinese leaders, that in turn is giving impetus to developing worlds in general, as all must decide to keep up or be left behind
what j6p has decided, so far, by default, is to relax, sit back, and credit buy another big screen television hooked up to XBox death match arena tournament, while munching a super-size-me bag of freedom fries (it being an important food group and all, and that freedom has its cost, not to mention that such must be transplanted via regime-changing operations everywhere, financed on credit card at 5% nominal interest, plus 10% annual depreciation of purchasing power, and loss of manufacturing - debt comes at a high price - say 20% per annum true cost - even when at low nominal interest)
and now, either koranic music and buddha chants will become as popular for holiday music, or the world gets turned to glass
indian movies are already making presence felt on my broadband tv. the movies follow a familiar scrip, eventually ending up with evrybody singing and dancing on screen
the korean movies follow another script: boy meets girl, fall in love, girl then diagnosed with rare blood cancer, drama, then parents realizes that boy and girl actually half siblings
in any case, chinese new year is a pretty good and peaceful holiday to have, now shutting down asia ex-japan once per year, and eventually, as nature takes course, an inevitable international holiday
;0)
you can probably tell that i find globalization enhanced by fiat money inflation a funny happening worldmarket.blogspot.com :0) >> |
