Stormin Norman - re: Social Decay....

I've always believed that trends in music, movies,
books etc...are great signs of where both the market
and the world is going.

I think American's are just now starting to realize that
something is fundamentally wrong.

America is now rounding the second turn on it's way
to becoming a bloated, flatulent, second-rate
welfare state.

The Economy has been one giant debt & credit orgy since
Greenspan first uttered the words -- "irrational exhuberance."

Jobs are now America's #1 export.

Our borders are porous.

Our schools are a mess.

We are importing most of our engineering, medical and
science students.

We have 30% of our population thru a lack of education,
out-of-wedlock births, drug-use and values based on
rap music, video games & street-life becomig a permanent
under-class... unskilled and disconnected from society.
A drain on tax payers thru a 3rd generation welfare/public
entitlement mindset and bankrupting the penal system.

Politicians and Investment Bankers are lining their pockets
as never before and are hand-in-hand in the greatest
transfer and concentration of wealth in U.S. history.

Not a pretty picture.

I'm not sure if gold's the answer.

If the gold bugs ultimate scenario comes true for America,
I think an offshore condo, an international bank account,
an up to date passport, a private plane/ocean going boat
and something that you can sew into the lining of your waistband might be more valuable...

Bugs may be better served by diamonds than gold, or silver
bullion & coins....let alone paper ETF gold -- when/if
Armageddon hits and people flee fiat currency.

Diamonds are transportable.

Diamonds have never been confiscated, or outlawed.

Norm...if you want to really know how bad the future is,
talk to 10 inner-city public school teachers that aren't
talking head liberal apologists...and you'll get the
picture of where America will be in twenty years...

They can't afford to keep a roof over their head, put gas
in their cars, or heat their homes without government assitance now.

Wait till entitlements get massively cut -- because
there's no money to pay them.

It will only get uglier...
