2+2=5?

GM used to own many businesses that traded publically, in stocks that GM owned. Many of those public traded stocks are now owned by thew fringe benefits that GM owed to the workers. GM chairman used to be proud of the asset ownership. Today GM shed the suppliers, then bought them back from bankruptcy courts.

These suppliers have to be ipo'd(become public) to be owned 85% by GM. In the GM tradition back in 1985.
