Century Mining Grants Stock Options to Directors Monday December 18, 4:13 pm ET
BLAINE, WASHINGTON--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 18, 2006) - Century Mining Corporation (TSX VENTURE:CMM - News) announces that it has granted 300,000 stock options to directors of the Company. The granting of these stock options is part of the directors' compensation for 2007. The stock options are exercisable into common shares of Century at an exercise price of C$0.73 per share for a period of five years. Century's common shares closed at C$0.71 on the TSX Venture Exchange on December 15, 2006.
Century Mining has 117,824,189 common shares issued and outstanding. Under the terms of the Company's "rolling" Incentive Stock Option Plan, a maximum of 11,782,419 shares are available to be issued pursuant to the exercise of options at this time. Including this grant of 300,000 options, a total of 4,882,500 shares have been reserved for issuance pursuant to outstanding option grants. A further 6,899,919 shares are available for issuance pursuant to future option grants at this time. |
