Reid said if Bush will end the war he doesn't mind more troops in temporarily. But yes, I believe that's a bad idea and Reid made a mistake. Though for 2008, it's important not to let McCain get away with being the one who's "tough on defence". So Reid walks a fine line. Maybe he knows something we don't know and is thinking ahead.

Bottomline, the war strategy of every Republican leader but Chuck Hagel has completely failed. The war is already lost. And it's their fault.
