What can the Bushies do?

At least the Bushies can attempt covertly to destabilize the European Union thereby creating a spectre of uncertainty for the Euro. If they succeed then those countries that wanted to buy Euros will be buying less or hesitate or reverse their plans altogether.

Believe it or not, several European countries are already voicing dissatisfaction with being in the European Union. France, for example, said that it wanted to exercise its autonomy and sovereignty and to bring back the Franc for use in addition to the Euro! FRance pointed out that under the EU agreement, each member state has the prerogative to use its own currency in addsition to the Euro. If all member states do this, the Euro's stature will be reduced. To be sure, this is what the Bushies want to happen.

Perhaps the Bushies have already been doing their dirty work on the sly, amd France may already have been a colluder for the sake of regaining favour from the US.
