re: For 50 years, we have been able to maintain our standard of living through productivity improvements, invention and other means. During that time, other economies have climbed up the economic ladder and joined us near the top. I am unclear why this process is about to change now. It seems to be happening. And I think a good part of the answer is unlimited immigration. Sounds like your pet peeve has taken over logic and rational thinking. Low cost labor and a youthful workforce is not going to explain a country's economic decline no matter how you spin it.
