Current Prior Rating Neutral Outperform

--Cowen & Co. said Motorola's new products are off to a slow start. The brokerage said its latest checks point to an Americas market that has softened significantly since its November update.

--The brokerage added North America GSM channels appear to have excess inventory a week away from Christmas, which is likely to impact both the current quarter and the first-quarter outlook for Motorola's largest market.
