No, originally it was an abstract threat analysis by the federal agency "Landeskriminalamt" (kind of FBI of Berlin). They wrote that the opera led to an increased threat level. The interior minister of Berlin had a phone call with the opera director, Mrs. Harms, about these findings.

Mrs. Harms decided to cancel the performance but changed her mind after the public discussion.
