I’m a bit of a counterargument. I was asked to leave Sunday school at age 8 because I was winning debates with the teachers about evolution vs. creation. Apparently it was confusing the other kids. Looking back, I feel a little sorry for those volunteers having to deal with a mouthy little prodigy like me. And I’m sure my parents regretted losing those child-free hours on Sunday morning! LC
