The rightwing doesn't believe in forgiveness and reconciliation. You can see it in their entire approach to politics, and how Bush is refusing to reconsile his past lies with reality now.

Of course the rightwing does forgive Chenry for shooting the guy in the face. His victim apologized. But they won't forgive any democrat for anything. Any sin committed by a democrat remains permanently in the GOP spin room manual. Sean Hannity still talks about Robert Byrd dabbling in the KKK even though that was 65 years ago.

In short, if you're a good Christian, join the democrats. We have a conscience. We are much more honest and walk the walk in terms of righteous values, not just talk the talk. And our gays are all out of the closet unlike the GOP's.
