The UNSC DID issue binding resolutions against Iraq. It is important to maintain credibility and I believe that is exactly why the UN didn't enforce the resolution (not to mention they are as currupt as most organizations).

Oh? They declare Saddam in material breach of UNSC 687 (the ceasefire accord), yet are unwilling to enforce it. And that's supposed to create "credibility"?

The world isnt nearly as black and white and you would like to paint it.

The world is NEVER "black and white" to people like yourself when you are looking for an excuse to avoid enforcing all of your fancy rhetoric.

If the resolutions were never intended to be enforced, they should never have been issued.
