Couple quick things for you Hawk.

First of all, the violence is in creasing in Iraq while we are there. If we picked up and left Iraq, they would only have each other to fight, not us. That alone should tell you that attacks would go down because they would not have us there to attack.

I have no doubt your mind is racing to the thought right now that some how our leaving iraq would turn that place into all out civil war. For that to happen, you have to assume that our presence in Iraq is really stopping much of that sectarian voilence right now. Considering that bagdad has a population of about 6 million people and we probably have between 20K and 40K troops in bagdad, it would be more than naive to think our troops are the main factor in holding back more sectarian voilence. Ofcourse, many of the things your side has assumed has come and gone. I doubt this would be any different.

With that said, I still want to stay on record as saying we should stay there long enough to stand there frickin force up. But with a change in tactics ie... less direct involvement and a whole hell of a lot more training and supplying equipment.

You are trying to grab things out of thin air when you try and link darfur with Iraq in anyway. They are not one and the same. Not in any way. And stop acting like there is this massive liberal movement out there to get involved in Darfur. that to is not there.
