Quick notes this AM....Our power came back on last night about 11...SO both of us are very grateful! Even the little (and one big) doggies are very glad....Am at the library right now, on the way back from an appointment...didn't want the chance to go home and read all the notes and email on my computer deter me from wrapping some of the gifts we have and maybe getting some of them out...even if very late.

We weren't hurt house wise, etc..THANK GOODNESS! So many people have such bad damage. We had Tons of debris, that we tried to at least get into some big piles...making both of us realize just how huge and powerful the storm was. Fortunately, our yard guys came yesterday, and cleaned the entire place up outside...!!! We COULDN'T believe that they could get it all in one trip...They must have had their BIG truck. We don't have household help, but having help on the outside is a wise investment, we are both in agreement about that.

I agree with Neeka...POWER - wood, fuel, blankets, etc....Also, make sure you all have items to keep you warm enough, some dry food that makes into something to eat, or at least with poplids, have cash in small bills, and gas more than half a tank.

XXOO to everyone here....More later
