The ACLU and their allies campaigns against Christian expression are just a myth according to our "centrist" friends:

Sez Mr. Baker to his "faithful little audience" or should I say "clique":

There is a minority clique with a big emotional stake in "the culture wars". Most folks outside the winger fringes are totally uninterested, but the winger media outlets have to keep pounding the drums for their faithful little audiences.

It's all part of the "we are under attack by the evil ones" martyr mentality that is so important to ideologues.

And here's Ikkie expressing good will to the "freaking defenders of Xmas" who don't seem to know our society already "wallows in all that is "christmas" (all that blaring Christmas muzak and leering Santas) way too much anyway:

The people who think Christmas is under attack are a bit out of touch with reality, imo- unless they mean the actual spirit of Christmas- like peace, goodwill, charity- that sort of thing. Then yes, I'd say it's under attack- both by folks who want menorahs up (and are willing to sue to get their way) AND by the freaking defenders of Xmas, willing to scream because someone wished them happy holiday instead of Merry Christmas. I am always awed, every year, by the concupiscent wallowing in all that is "christmas" one can observe in malls and stores across the country. Christmas muzak blares from every speaker. Santa leers from every sign. And I am always saddened by the pettiness some people manage to focus on at this time of year. It's a season of goodwill, for God sake, and people want to fight over it. Makes no sense at all.

See, no one is really suing to prevent people from praying or singing religious themed songs in public - or iow freely exercising their freedom of religion. And why should anyone who counts care about a little thing called religious freedom? If it was important the "centrists" would be all upset about it.
