There were plenty of people warning of a stock bubble, but I don't think anyone predicted the severity of the Great Depression.

I don't see the current situation as anything compared to '29. Maybe we will have a recession. Maybe even a severe recession. But I doubt we see anything like even the early '80s recession when unemployment peaked at 10.8%, much less the Great Depression when unemployment reached 29%.
