Huh? TJ, QCOM Is globalisation <E-bay has had its teeth kicked in in China, retreating, to wait to have its teeth kicked in everywhere else, along with Google, QCOM, etc, plus Walmart. What I do not understand is why folks think new tech will be less vulnerable to globalization than old economy. >

Heard of Globalstar? How globalized is that? CDMA is global. China is going CDMA. They just aren't sure exactly how to do it yet and have their dopey TD-SCDMA struggling to pretend it's a local deal rather than a QCOM rip-off.

I have been leading globalisation for generations. [Ancestors busy with the process too which is sort of me - chromo lattice and all that].

When you write "no need" for CDMA, I suppose you realize that's such an Amish statement. Of course you don't "need" good quality mobile cyberspace. You can probably more or less survive without it [in a crippled kind of way].

More Asian contagion from Thailand? Plus ca change...

You have got this part right: <The more outrageous is still ahead of us. > So far, there hasn't been a glitch in financial relativity theory operation. Uncle Al KBE handed over to Big Ben nearly a year ago and things are going swimmingly. Dow at all time highs. Interest rates sitting solid at 5.25% waiting for a break one way or the other. The biotelecosmictechdot.com revolution continues apace and is accelerating. If you could count CDMA phragmented photons in the aether, you would find a curve zooming rapidly upwards in what is usually called "exponential" fashion.
