I don't know much about uranium mining but I know enough to know that .05% is a very low-grade ore. Some of the deposits being located by JNN and UEX are between 20% and 50% (yes!), or hundreds of times richer. There's also the question of the dpeth of the deposit, the character of the rock, the proximity to a mill, and the mode of transportation for the ore. Of course, in situ leaching in porous sedimentary rocks is a different matter.
