Everyone,
IMO only looked at the Barney dolls at Toys R US today in Sacramento.
The display was already broken, the button for the Peek A Boo! feature
was out. This means alot of us wanted to push this button or what?
The display has it draw backs because of the pexiglass cover over it.
Good design but no interaction between the doll and children. I still
think they need someone to do better marketing of this product. Hands
on approach interactive with a computer is the only way to sell this BIG TIME! I know that I would walk right by the display as I saw
others do! Too High on the Shelf for children to reach buttons
It reminds me of the genie in the glass machine on the boardwalk when I was a kid. Barney is suppose to be huggable and cute. NOT this way! Well, the CD's are the only Barney thing out for computers and again IMO they will sell, are selling! The doll will sit on the shelves in the boxes. Great Ideas! Need Great Marketing! Just another salesmans opinion!
