Iran's actions are not going to ring in the fall of the dollar. Their current actions are dictated by the current political situation. Switching to the Euro is trying to curry favor with Europe. But my prediction is that Iran will soon have to face the threat not from the US or Europe but from Saudi Arabia and other Sunni dominated nations.

With regards to attacking Iran, The US is no position to do so when in the first place they do not have enough troops to even sustain Iraq.

Iraq is in itself very interesting since Bush now wants to win the "battle against terrorism" instead of the "war against terrorism"
