John Bauman, you wrote:

When someone posts on a public thread and it is copied with good intentions as to pass it on to all interested readers, they should not be called upon to defend themselves. Alot of the readers don't have the ability to access the SI and in order to get the word out, copies of the postings are sometime copied. It is just like the newspapers. After fifteen minutes, it is public knowledge and they can do with what they want. It was a good post and I gave you that credit. lighten up and get on the positive team.>>
You have totally missed the point as usual. I could care less if you re-post a thousand of my posts from SI to Motley Fool or vice versa, as long as you properly identify the original source. That is not the point. The point is you copied my post and omitted the source of that post and the author. The result is that several readers on Motley Fool actually thought you wrote it yourself. Why should I care? I'm not looking for online "pats on the back". I want to ensure that people who read both Motley Fool and Silicon Investor know with certainty that I do not post on Motley Fool under the alias, "JB" or "Johnb11". If you think I'm paranoid, then you are oblivious and ignorant to the rampant deception and manipulation online/internet...but then again, you are proving to be a master of that, aren't you? As for "persona non gratta", I take that as a compliment and I'm glad that you acknowledge that I have nothing to do with you. I wouldn't even buy a used Mercedes from you . For the others on this Silicon Investor thread who don't have access to Motley Fool, here's what I'm talking about:

I also heard that Kinnard's Institutional sales people will be meeting with Ancor on Tuesday, ie tomorrow. FWIW, I spoke to an Ancor official last Friday who told me that Ancor "was starting to draw some institutional interest" in response to my complaint about Ancor's curent small cap listing status and lack of institutional ownership. I have no idea if his comments were related or unrelated to the upcoming Kinnard meeting. Big board listing ( NMS ) is in the gameplan but I believe their timetable is driven by other factors, including the desire to post 1-2 good quarterly results ( significant topline progress ) before deciding how to finance even more significant ramp up in revenues. For the time being, cash is not an immediate concern since they are enjoying a record quarter and current cash level is still $5+ million. I should also add that the new addition to the Board of Directors, John Carlson, the ex-CFO/CEO for Cray Research is a real coup for Ancor. Apparently he has incredible Industry contacts and has respect/credibility in the financial community ( he left Cray about 5 years ago when they were still making money ). He will help Ken Hendrickson open alot of new doors to Ancor in both Industry and Wall St which were previously closed to Messrs O Hara and Showers

John--Thank you for your informative post which was great to read esp since it lacked the more common hype, exaggeration, and price predictions which made many of your past posts unreadable. Keep up the good work.

JohnB311,
Excellent post! Have you spoken with Mr. Carlson?

2Which post are you referring to? The one that was first posted on SI? Your post is exactly why I am irked..I'm searching for the appropriate words..plagiarism..misrepresentation..an "honest" mistake?
3Larry, I suggest you review the most recent Ancor SI posts and the time of those posts and then you will see why I am so belligerent on this subject. I have no idea whether JB made an honest mistake or whether he deliberately omitted the original source of the post. It is common knowledge/online etiquette to identify the origin of a re-post whether one is copying an MF post onto the SI thread or whether one if re-posting an SI post to MF. Either way, I won't stand for it.

Kerry, you are absolutely right. Unfortunately I read JB post here on MF before I saw your original post on SI and also before I saw your explanation in either place. I have been gasping for breath through my laughter that out of hundreds of JB posts I finally see one that seems worthwhile and it ends up having been stolen from you. It is not really funny I guess, and the rapid complements for JB prior to the sourcing documentation certainly shows there is nothing personal involved in any criticisms of his style up to now. Good luck to all Ancorites!!! Sorry but I am still laughing.
