I don't think they have ever missed a quarter by such a wide margin as Ascend has announced.>> It should be noted that the stock market took close to $10 Billion off 3 Coms market cap (yes, that is TEN BILLION) when COMS reported that slow quarter--which by the way turned out to be not so bad. Here were the sales numbers: 5-96 $660 MM 8-96 $707 MM 11-96 $820 MM <--- COMS CEO announced sales shortfall in late 1996 2-97 $787 MM <--- Sales come in ONLY $50 MM down, sequentially Case in point: COMS stock fell from $80 to a low of $24 and TEN BILLION was cut off COMS for WHAT TURNED out to be a $50 MM miss. Do not underestimate a low on ASND. You guys may very well be amazed at how badly Wall Street will overblow the downside. At $21 this issue still has a $4 BILLION market cap. Be patient.
