Thanks for the link to "M3". The author states that the formula they're using "has five 9s correlation to the original data back to 1980." That is excellent correlation!

It shows quite a rise in M3 after the Fed stopped reporting the M3 data. I don't think that's any surprise to anyone.

Isn't the money supply (i.e., tight money) one of Bob's 4 root causes of a bear market? Money supply can't be a bearish factor in his model with growth like that.

I'm still quite conservative in my asset allocation these days. How about you?
