That's true and he also is not cowed by other strong-willed people. That's the sign of a true leader. Bush has surrounded himself with yes-men, which is part of the problem. We don't need yes-men. We need people of independent will and critical thinking that can cross party lines when it is good for this country. We haven't had a leader like that in a VERY long while. I'd say the closest we came was Clinton, although I know that I used to dislike him and most conservatives disliked him. Truth is that when I look back, he was more conservative when it came to financial matters than today's so-called conservative Republicans. So I disliked Clinton when he was in office, but he's sure looking good in comparison to Bush Jr.
