You know what shocks me DTK, is that none of the Democrats want to talk about the responsibility of the Muslims. I am not pointing the finger at you, since you are clearly able to grasp all levels of accountability. Why don't the Democrats tell us that they would like to see the terrorists end all of their senseless violence? All they do is blame the West, which is the same thing that the terrorists are trying to do. They don't want anyone to interfere with their efforts to talibanize or terrorize all of the "moderate" Muslims of the ME.

Nontheless, there is a job of protecting Iraq from terrorists and armed militias. The job is far from over. I would like to think that job would be done in the next 12 months like 70% of the Democrats. However, that is bloody unlikely. The reality is that the Sunnis and the Shiites will continue to struggle for a balance of power using terrorism and armed militias. The only way that Saddam prevented this kind of violence in Iraq was through the use of chemical weapons to kill everyone that disagreed with him. He deserves the death that is coming his way.

In the meantime, we should look at our own political divisions along selfish and totally insignificant interests. We all like to laugh about the petty differences between the Sunnis and the Shiites, but they aren't oo much different that the differences between the Democrats and the Republicans. We have absolutely no unity in our own political spectrum. Maybe we can create some bipartisan respect in this country.
