I've been watching that fund but never pulled the trigger, holding FXI instead. It does look powerful to me, and appears to offer a less-DOWish way to directly invest in China.

I don't think I own any mutual funds....can somebody tell me, if I were to buy this fund today or before the end of the year, would I be liable for 2006 capital gains & distributions associated with this fund?
