Iraq is Bush's war, not any of the Democrats except Lieberman types. There is no way Kerry, Hillary or Edwards have supported Bush on Iraq, especially Kerry, for a long-long time.

I don't think war powers voting means anything anymore unless you've been caught agreeing with Bush on his strategy, or lack thereof. Lieberman did that. McCain did that for awhile. Guiliani has done that. Those are the guys who will get hurt by the war.

Any influx of troops is not going to matter much and may even make things worse. The only solution must be political and Bush so far isn't even talking to the neighbors.

Strategically it's gotten so bad what we really need is for them to go ahead and finish their civil war, but that could take years and hundreds of thousands killed. It's just a huge mess, and it didn't have to be that way.
