Neocons kicking around idea of backing Shi'ites and Kurds to wipeout Sunnis in Iraq like any strategy they have to "win" will only make matters worse. They underestimate how intensely anti-american Moqtada al Sadr is, they would end up having to go after Sadr also. It would also only set the table for Iran to take over southern Iraq. To crush the Sunni would be intolerable to Saudis, if they saw the move to wipe out Iraqi Sunni , they would put everything they have into backing the Sunni. Bush could accomplish the impossible , saudis declare an embargo on crude to U.S.--point being Saudi's grostesque "royal family" even have it's breaking point, even this corrupt pig farm of the House of Saud would turn against america if they decide on a mission of genocide against the Sunni. Also Turkey would be freaked because it would mean Kurds would be rewarded with undisputed possession of KirKuk and thus create money supply for Kurdistan dream of one united Kurd population. Shi'ites that allied with U.S. numbers could NOT come close to the actual population of Iraqi Shi'ites, and they would become disgraced in many a Shi'ites eye, they would end up having to fight their own people. Hard reality, every scenario NeoCons create will end in disaster. They have no choice but withdraw BUT they will NOT do so, it will not happen as long as Democrats remain a disgrace, a pack of shameless hypocrites from the Clintons on down. The democrat loyalists on these threads are now a bunch of herd phonies now supporting the democratic congress yhat in the main be but ENABLING Bush and not doing a damn thing to stop this war. To be a registered member of a party, and rah rah that party, is now to just to be another fool in an ugly circus. i would love EVERYBODY to register as an INDEPENDENT---ha!! Fact, as long as voters support a two-party system this country's perception it is democracy gets more and more absurd, we are more and more but a one party system divided into two groups, yhe democrats and the repblicans, this the grand illussion. The public has been suckered as usual.Max |
