McCain really hurt himself backing troop increases. This throws the election even wider open that it was before. This means that maybe ANY of our fine democratic candidates can beat McCain in the fall. Therefore, we should pick whomever is the most qualified and deserving. I say that starts with the two men who were cheated out of the White House and would have made great presidents, Gore and Kerry. Obama has plenty of time later. Edwards can vie for VP again. Hillary should stay in New York and be a senator. She's making a mistake if she tries to run, despite the early polls.
