"The most important political game in town becomes HOW DOES THE G.O.P. DEFEND ITSELF FROM THIS 'INSIDE THE PERIMETER' DISASTER?"

I'm sure many GOP types are already quietly mumbling about the damage Bush is doing to the party.

At some point in the near future a group of men in dark suits will visit the White House and demand Bush consider the damage he is doing the Republican cause.

But will Bush listen? Bush has had 6 years of being told the President is an almost king like position. Hes "the decider" and seems to have had a break with reality regarding Iraq.

What will win? Bush's vain banging his head against the wall of Iraq or will it be loyalty and appreciation for his party and what others have done for him?

I'm betting vanity will win out.
