JER ENVIROTECH INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION APPOINTS EDWARD TRUEMAN AS CEO AND PRESIDENT
Vancouver, British Columbia CANADA, December 22, 2006 /FSC/ - JER Envirotech International Corp. (TSX - VX: JER), ("JER" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Edward Trueman as its new President and CEO, effective immediately. In accepting this position, Mr. Trueman follows Mr. Raphael ("Rely") Diego, JER's co-founder, who will move into a technical advisory role with the Company.
As the majority of the technical challenges have been overcome in the development and manufacture of JER's proprietary wood-plastic composite (WPC) compounds and related JERtech(TM) WPC panel boards, the Company is shifting its focus to the commercialization of these products and the global expansion of its manufacturing operations. Mr. Trueman brings to JER's leadership a strong sales and marketing background and extensive knowledge in the global polymer manufacturing industry. "During Mr. Trueman's career, he has a track record for successfully guiding organizations from start-up to established market leader," states Rely Diego. "He has the skills and experience necessary to take JER to the next stage in its development as a global WPC manufacturer."

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Trueman served as JER's Vice President of Sales & Marketing. His previous work history and achievements include:
* From 2002 up until joining JER, Mr. Trueman held the position as Director, Global Automotive Business Group, for AlphaGary Corporation, an original equipment manufacturer of thermoplastic compounds and engineering alloys for the auto, medical, and wire and cable industries, based in Troy, Michigan.
* From 1991 to 2002, Mr. Trueman was Vice-President, Automotive Sales and Marketing, for Multibase USA, a supplier of plastics and elastomers to North American auto OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
* From 1989 to 1991, Mr. Trueman was the principal of Elastomeric Technologies LLC., a polymer consulting corporation that provided services exclusively to Exxon.
* From 1983 to 1989, Mr. Trueman was the OEM Sales Manager for Research Polymers International of Grand Prairie, Tex., a start-up TPO polymer compounder that serviced the North American Tier 1 automotive markets. During his tenure at Research Polymers, Mr. Trueman pioneered the sale of the auto industry's first TPO injection-moulded bumper to General Motors in 1984.
Mr. Truman is a graduate from Eastern Michigan University, with a Bachelor' of Science, Economics and Management degree in 1979.
Mr. Diego has also resigned as a Director of JER Envirotech Corporation. Mr. Sokhie Puar will replace Mr. Diego as Chairman of the Board.
