I have posted here about enablence several times and am keeping am eye on them. They developed a specific type of PLC technology used for diplexers and triplexers that eliminates the need for thin film filter attachment during manufacturing. This makes the packaging smaller and more cost effective. It looks like they have mastered the prototype and are ready for mass production as they have recently completed another round of funding and signed a production deal with Sanmina. They were named to Lightwave's "5 Companies to Watch in 2006" list earlier this year:
