Did the Democrats stand for anything for the November 2006 elections. They just ran on a slogan "Had enough?" Very very different than the "Contract with America" of 1994.

The American people have demonstrated that they want something new and not the same old stuff. And that is the reason for the Barack Obama surge.

And for those who try to inject race or religion will fall by the wayside, IMHO.
