DPTR Delta Petroleum. Joseph Well Update -- Comment: The following is a post from the Investor Village Scout of the Delta Pete Joseph Well in Central Utah. As pointed out they do not spend dollars on delivering casing to the well if they believe it is a dry hole. Should be an interesting week ahead for DPTR. They could make a book of the evolving story on Investors Village. It has become difficult to keep up with all the activity there. In August few were interested and now everybody and their brother is following each event. Start: Joseph #1 Site Update 12/22/06 Some interesting developments!!! Tuesday night they started pulling the drill pipe out, and had it all stacked in the tower. It seemed to me that there was some mechanical problems. They started back in Wednesday night, and Thursday morning they started drilling again, and have been drilling very slowly. This morning I recognized that they are drilling from the top again. During the night, (early Friday morning) they brought in what appears to me to be casing. It is stacked on racks right next to the chute that pulls them up into the rig. There is one rack about full, and it looks to me that they are expecting more to arrive as there is another empty rack right by it. Some of you have been asking about casing, and my best guess is that is what arrived sometime during the night. There is still a road block and security guard on the road. Just thought I would let you know before the holidays. Family obligations may make it hard to watch the board much, or the rig, but I will do my best. Have a Merry Christmas, best wishes to all!
