America is perceived as THE land of opportunity. If you live in Darfur and most of your family has been sliced up, or you live in some lousy spot in Africa, Iraq, or Kurdistan, then perhaps you'll risk sitting in a shipping container for a few weeks or somehow stowing away on a boat to get here. It's like the war on drugs, you can't win this one. People all over the world will not stop clamoring to get here. No matter how high you build the wall, legal or otherwise, they'll get through. Gees, look at the terrible laws inacted and the billions and billions if not trillions of dollars the government has spent chasing and incarcerating drug users (mostly) and sellers yet it has had nearly zero effect stemming the flow of drugs into the country.

Have a Merry Christmas Peter. Hope you and your family will be well and prosper in the new year.
