That was an unbelievable run by Tré Newton. I did think his father was going to get kicked off the field- On the other hand, who would do the kicking? I remember Nate and his drug problems from early years. The other pro player's son on the team is John Saldi's boy. I wondered how hard it is for a coach to deal with that. I get the feeling Todd Dodge is pretty buttoned up, though. A couple of years ago I bought one of those restaurant cards from a couple of Carroll players. They had run out of the cards and said they would have to come back, so I went ahead and paid them. A week later I noticed they had never returned and I called the athletic dept. Coach Dodge answered the phone, and that evening two players were at my door with a card and apologies. By the way, we were listening to 101.1 yesterday, and they played a glorious arrangement of Once in Royal David's City at the request of "Myron in Dallas". I wondered if it were you calling!
