If you counted leftists twice you still might not have a majority in favor of gun control. <grin>
Seriously though, the biggest promoters of gun control legislation is the Jewish lobby, the same bunch who want unlimited aid for Israel and unlimited military adventures in the desert. They are also the biggest enemy of immigration control in any form. Beginning to see a pattern here? The American people are, thats for sure. The same bunch who would bankrupt the country would also take away our guns and fill the place up with uneducated and impossible to assimilate immigrants from everywhere. Hope we wise up in time. It is happening already, albeit slowly.
BTW, on gun control, most folks are unaware of a small technological leap that occurred years back that made obsolete any overarching gun control scheme. It it the CNC machining center, and now there are untold millions of these machines scattered all over the country. I have a small one.
With such a machine and the CAD drawings anybody can turn out guns by the bunches in a garden shed, automatics, assualt rifles, pistols, whatever. And believe me, there are plenty of qualified folks waiting in the wings should the need ever arise.
