The mention was in the Wall Street Journal's Monday article on a small cap conference. The person you are quoting is Garret Van Wagoner, the once-hot fund manager of the Van Wagoner funds. (Like many small-cap growth investors, he's gotten hammered during the big-cap rally of the past year.)

I am a long-term investor and like this stock. Thin-prep's results were termed "significantly" better than traditional tests in a major article in the leading gynecology journal. The term "significant" has precise statistical meaning in science, and essentially means that the results cannot be the result of chance -- there is a real, verifiable effect. Since we are talking about a test that can save a "significant" number of lives, the insurance companies will have to come around. At some point, Thin-Prep will become the standard, and anyone who DOESN'T use it will be vulnerable to claims of poor care. Then, watch the cascade of orders.
