A major part of the reason Iraq has been so tragic is that it may very well have turned out ALRIGHT if it hadn't been done in such a slipshod manner. The military did their part. But after that it was "keystone kops" all the way. From not planning for post war security to disbanding the Iraqi military to throwing every Baathist out of his job. I'm not at all surprised that Bush didn't know the difference between a Shiite and a Sunni. I am rather surprised and dismayed that a large portion of the country was so gullible as to think Bush was Presidential material.
