Regarding the search for an explanation for the recent downtrend, someone on the Yahoo AAPL board made an oblique reference to the idea that pension funds and other tightly regulated or highly conservative accounts may be selling simply because AAPL is late with their regulatory filing. I have no idea though how many shares might have been owned by such entities. It sounds like a plausible contributing factor to me, what do you folks think?
