IDEX Closes on Five-Year, $600 Million Credit Facility to Replace Its Existing Revolver

NORTHBROOK, Ill. (AP) -- IDEX Corp., which makes pumps and valves, on Friday said it closed on a $600 million amended credit facility.

The five-year, senior revolving credit facility replaces the company's previous $600 million credit facility, which was scheduled to expire on Dec. 14, 2009.

IDEX financed the new credit facility through a syndication of 15 financial institutions, co-led by Banc of America Securities LLC and Wachovia Capital Markets LLC.

Shares of IDEX lost 30 cents to $46.46 in midday trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
