Hi Paul:

Belated Happy Holidays!

I've been doing some "energy" PF reorganizing today, now that sales on Canadian stocks will not settle until 2007...

- Finally sold Tournigan (TVC) since I bought it as a gold stock and it became a uranium stock and an 8-bagger! But I'm always suspicious of these reincarnations... reminds me of Linux Gold of .com times!

- Replaced it with Strathmore (STM), buying back in at double what I previously sold at. :^( But I think it's a better bet than TVC at this point. One of your favourites if I remember.

- Sold UEX and replaced it with 2009 LEAPS on Suncor. I still like UEX but it's moved more slowly than others and I've got too much tied up in the U stocks and not enough in the oil sands.

- Took some more profits in DJE, JNN and RSC. I'm freeing up some funds to buy into a BRIC-regions-based energy stock or ETF, if such a thing exists! Any suggestions from anyone? This is based on a Puru Saxena view that O&G is going to rebound and demand in the BRIC regions is going to outperform North America. Makes sense to me.

Better go... off to the dentist grrrr.

Best regards,
Howy
