What's a dutch oven? A heavy covered pot. It's one step below pressure cooker in the stewing heirarchy. You could probably substitute a crock-pot slow cooker, except it would be hard to sear the meat and that adds a lot of flavor. Gore's film is on my Netflix list. I don't need to see the film to support the environment. There are more reasons to save nature than just global warming, although that is a biggie. TP
