What do you make of General Abizaid visiting Ethiopia recently, as reported below? How should I know? The article says he met with the Ethiopian Prime Minister. Unlike the article which makes it sound like the US has a joystick that controls the Ethiopian military, I don't think the US controls the Ethiopian military. Probably their Prime Minister controls it. That's logical, don't you think?
