It may very well be the result of global warming, but since this is all just anecdotal evidence it is very hard to say so definitively.
But I think if you look at the data from the last 20 years or so, any reasonable person will find that the warming trend is difficult to deny.
Perhaps I will be forced to spend my senior years skiing in Alaska...
