Snowshoe, That is the absolute truth about the Israel fund and much else besides. There is a danger to a persons investing success by spending too much time with these permabears, whether they are real bears or just folks who come around to the bearish position as an extension of their ideology or politics. And when permabears congregate there can be a sort of synergy about it and the thing takes on a life of its own. One thing you get is very many postings in Adobe of research reports from the full service brokers and just a whole bunch of postings of investment research and newsletters from the leading newsletter writers, nearly every day somebody posts that days copy of "The Gartman Letter", for example.
