Wayne:

After the NPEC/MDIN property option was not exercised, MXR released a news release stating that they would not be pursuing this property. At that same time, they spoke of another property in Chile they were pursuing. I'll copy the news release for you. I am assuming that this is the property they are speaking about. I really like the fact this this news release (the Sept 29th one) has a property that is now 51% owned by MXR, if I am reading everything correctly. Hopefully this week will show some gains!! That would be really cool.

Here's that news release from July:

Mr Russell Godwin reports
The due diligence review is nearing completion regarding acquisition of a 50% or
greater interest in a gold property in Chile. The property, 40km from Santiago,
Chile has been under production by local miners for a number of years. Recent
samples from the property have assayed as high as 21.33 g/t gold (0.62 oz/t) over
a width of 1.3m.
The company has been unable to secure the necessary financing for the
completion of a minority interest in the Mina Claudia project, Chile, and has
therefore relinquished the option to acquire a 20% interest in the project.
