Prediction for 2007 Semiconductors will rock in the first half.

stockcharts.com

I have predicted a down market for 2007 and in fact a crash for the nasdaq. This may be over done and may not come to pass, I certainly hope not for the hard working men and woman that would be damaged again from such a happening.

Although I am predicting a crash I dont think it will be out of the gate and in fact I feel the nasdaq will come out of the gate flying high and may for several months.

Semiconductors stocks in almost every case show price at the very point of a triangle that are many month and years long. When they break out it will likely be in a big way.

Volume has been large enough to cause such a rally as you can see from the charts volume has picked up in semi land and volume usually procedes price movement.

On the other hand a crash may happen out of the gate in which case I will be wrong but you shouldnt have long to wait as price it at the very point of the triangle in most cases.

If it does break to the down side play it that way. No one knows which way the market is going to go and I certainly do not, But there are signs and hints that it may be up and strong.
